Manufacturing Process of PET Acoustic Panel
1.Raw Material Treatment
We adopt recycled PET plastic bottles as raw materials. After cleaning, crushing and melting, the plastic is extruded into uniform polyester staple fibers, eco-friendly and recyclable.
2.Fiber Carding & Laminating
Fibers are combed evenly and stacked layer by layer to reach the required density for sound absorption. This step ensures consistent thickness and stable acoustic performance of finished panels.
3.Needle Punch Molding
High-speed needle machines pierce fiber layers repeatedly. Fibers interlock tightly to form a breathable porous interior structure, which is the core for noise absorption.
4.Glue-Free Thermal Compression
Add low-melting-point PET fibers during laying. Under constant high temperature and pressure, the low-melt fibers melt and stick all fibers together. No formaldehyde adhesive is used, safe for indoor use.
5.Precision Cutting & Custom Shaping
Large standard sheets (1220×2440mm) are cut into regular sizes like 600×600mm ceiling tiles. We can also process hexagon, round, curved, cloud and strip baffles as custom designs.
6.Quality Inspection & Packaging
Each panel is inspected for color difference, thickness flatness, fire resistance and sound absorption coefficient. Qualified goods are packed tightly to avoid damage during transportation.
