For direct installation, panels are secured directly to drywall or joists, often using screws driven through the PET felt for a rigid mount. For a flush, cleaner look, construction adhesive is preferred, whereas Z-clips offer a removable solution for access behind the panel.
Common Installation Methods：
Direct Screw/Fastener Method: Ideal for PET acoustic ceiling. Panels are screwed directly into the ceiling joists or through acoustic felt. For standard PET panels, screws with washers can be used.
Adhesive Application: Construction adhesive or spray adhesive is applied to the back of the panel, then pressed firmly to the ceiling surface. This is best for lightweight panels and requires a clean, dry surface.
Z-Clip (French Cleat) Method: Provides a removable mounting option. One half of the Z-clip is attached to the PET acoustic ceiling, the other to the panel, allowing them to slide together.
Suspended/Cloud Systems: PET acoustic ceiling panels are hung using cable hangers or cords, allowing them to hover below the main ceiling to catch sound waves from both sides.
